A big thank you to David Clark (5532's Restoration Manager) for providing these work in progress photos of 5532 from this weekend. here is what he had to say:-
"We had a painting session on Friday and Saturday on 5532 using red oxide. All the bare metal received two coats. The next session will be using dark grey undercoat on the inner side of the tanks (which face the boiler), the underside and top of the tanks. The session after that will be green undercoat on the outer side and ends of the tanks and black gloss on the parts which will have been painted in dark grey. In total it took six man days of painting in red oxide - five litres of paint."
